The Muslim Literary Society (MLS) is an educational charity organization that promotes the intellectual, artistic and spiritual heritage of Islam through its classical literary works. It aspires to broaden the vision of Islam by bringing to light oft-neglected dimensions of Islamic life and thought.

As a charity organization we strongly need your support.  Please consider contributing to our current effort to translate and publish the Ihya‘ Ulum al-Din of Imam al-Ghazali.

The MLS, in conjunction with Fons Vitae, recently published A Portrait of the Prophet As Seen by His Contemporaries, by Imam Muhammad ibn 'Isa at-Tirmidhi.

Thanks to all of your donations towards the Ghazzali project, MLS and Fons Vitae are pleased announce that Muhtar Holland has resumed his translation of the Ihya Ulum ad-Din (Revivification of the Sacred Disciplines) and is working towards its completion from the original Arabic to English. Please check back here regularly for updated information.
